What We Do
Prairie Island CBH, Inc. (CBH) is a tribally owned cannabis company established by the Prairie Island Indian Community in Minnesota to create meaningful economic opportunity and advance Tribal sovereignty through cannabis.
Cannabis is a gift from Ina Maka (Mother Earth), and our products reflect Dakota traditions of healing, balance and environmental stewardship.
CBH operates with cultural authenticity and regulatory excellence. We maintain a highly controlled, adaptive operation delivering a broad range of premium cannabis products. We bring integrity to the cannabis industry by acting responsibly, strictly adhering to regulations and by promoting the clinical efficacy of cannabis.
Cultural alignment is embedded at every stage of CBH’s cannabis ecosystem. Together, these operations allow the Tribe to maintain 100% control of the cannabis supply chain, from cultivation and extraction to finished goods, distribution and retail, enshrining transparency, quality and purpose in every product.
At the foundation of CBH’s cannabis ecosystem is Good Steward, which oversees all cannabis cultivation—indoor, outdoor and greenhouse—and leads all extraction efforts, including solventless live rosin and foodgrade ethanol distillate derived from premium flower and THC-rich plant material grown on-site.
Good Steward also leads ongoing research and development in cultivation methods, soil science and cannabis genetics, using a regenerative approach and Korean Natural Farming (KNF) principles. Founded in February 2024, Good Steward operates exclusively within the CBH, Inc. Cannabis Business Park, in direct partnership with the Prairie Island Indian Community.
